Genoa president Enrico Preziosi says striker Rodrigo Palacio is close to signing for Inter Milan.
The 30-year-old Palacio is yet to have a medical test at Inter, but Preziosi says: ''Palacio is an Inter player, there's an agreement.''
Inter has tried to get Palacio for two years, according to Preziosi, who also said: ''It was a good deal for both clubs and he doubled his salary.''
Preziosi did not disclose financial details of the deal.

Palacio moved to Genoa from Boca Juniors in 2009. He scored 19 goals for Genoa last season.
Genoa narrowly escaped relegation to Serie B this season.
