Genoa continued its impressive run with a comfortable 2-0 victory over high-flying Hellas Verona in Serie A on Sunday.
The home side took the lead in the 29th minute when Daniele Portanova headed Francelino Matuzalem's corner into the bottom right of the goal.
Matuzalem was again the provider six minutes later, with a splendid delivery over the defense for Juraj Kucka to head into the top corner.
Former Genoa striker Luca Toni headed a free kick off the post in the 80th.
