Racing Genk won its third Belgian league title on Tuesday after holding closest challenger Standard Liege to a 1-1 draw at home in the final championship playoff.

Nigerian substitute Kennedy Nwanganga headed an equalizer in the 78th minute for Genk to secure the title after Standard Liege had led 1-0 from Eliaquim Mangala's free kick on the stroke of halftime.

Both teams finished with 51 points, but Genk won the title because of better results in the regular competition.
