Gecov has been linked with Sparta Prague, but Fulham boss Martin Jol looks to have won the race for the 23-year-old. Gecov's agent, Jiri Muller, says Fulham will discuss personal terms with the former Czech Republic Under-21 international this week. He said: "The clubs have been negotiating, so we will see how it turns out. Marcel is to undergo a medical and will have an interview with coach Jol." Gecov started his career with Slavia Prague and has made 79 appearances in Czech Republic's top flight, scoring three times.
