Five France under-21 players who went to a nightclub while on international duty have been summoned to appear before the French Football Federation's disciplinary commission on Nov. 8.

Midfielders Yann M'Vila and Wissam Ben Yedder, winger Antoine Griezmann, striker Mbaye Niang and defender Chris Mavinga left the Le Havre training camp at night and drove two hours to Paris and back between two playoff games earlier this month against Norway for the 2013 European Championship.

France had beaten Norway 1-0 the previous evening but lost the return match 5-3 to end its qualification hopes. Under-21 coach Erick Mombaerts quit immediately after the defeat.

Rennes players M'Vila and Mavinga have already been suspended by their club until further notice.
