Fiorentina win third straight Europa match; Napoli lose perfect record

Fiorentina secured a third straight win in the Europa League but fellow Italian side Napoli's 100 percent record came to an end as Europe's second-tier club competition resumed with the third round of group games Thursday.

Juan Vargas' 38th-minute strike earned Fiorentina a 1-0 victory at PAOK Salonika and a five-point lead in Group K.

Napoli dropped their first points of the Europa League campaign as they went down 2-0 away to Swiss side Young Boys on Thursday night.

Goals from Guillaume Hoarau in the 52nd-minute and Leonardo Bertone in injury-time decided the contest and moved the hosts level top of Group I on goal difference.

Sparta Prague joined the pair on six points, but their 3-0 win at Slovan Bratislava was marred by crowd trouble which caused the game to be suspended for around 40 minutes.

Torino top Group B after a 2-0 win at home to HJK Helsinki, with Club Brugge's 1-1 draw with FC Copenhagen leaving the Belgians second.
