Eriksen calm over Ajax future
The 19-year-old Denmark international is thought to have turned heads across Europe after a breakthrough campaign in Amsterdam last season. Eriksen was linked with a move to Liverpool in the January transfer window, while Manchester City are thought to have the teenager on their radar this summer. The Dane's agent said last week that he had snubbed a proposed move to City in favour of staying at Ajax, a claim which the Premier League club strenuously denied. Manchester United and Real Madrid are two other European giants believed to be interested in the youngster, who has also established himself on the international stage over the past year. But despite constantly finding himself at the centre of transfer talk, Eriksen says he is calm over his future and happy at Ajax for the time being. "I don't feel the pressure. I'm getting used to it now," he told Sky Sports News following Denmark's friendly defeat to Scotland on Wednesday night. "A lot of clubs are following me but you know when they follow you it's because it's going well. "I hope it's going to go on until I play at a new club, but right now I'm at Ajax and I'm very happy there."
