LONDON (AP) Tottenham of the English Premier League has apologized to Wayne Gretzky for giving the hockey superstar a soccer jersey with his name misspelled.
Former Tottenham star Ledley King presented The Great One with a No. 99 jersey with ''Gretsky'' on the back before Wednesday's game against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
The club tweeted at halftime its ''sincere apologies'' for the error on the shirt, adding ''new one on its way!''
Gretzky took the mistake in stride, responding on Twitter ''not to worry'' and saying this sort of thing ''happens all the time!''
