England will be without Darren Bent for next week's friendly against France after the Sunderland striker was ruled out for at least two weeks because of a hamstring injury.
The 26-year-old Bent scored his first international goal in September's 3-1 win at Switzerland but was hurt in training Friday and missed the next day's 2-0 win over Stoke.
