Emanuelson out to derail rivals
Urby Emanuelson hopes to sign off his Ajax spell by helping the club win the title - and aims to make a big stride towards that by beating PSV.
The Holland international is hoping to go out on a high, and a clash with leaders PSV gives Martin Jol's third-placed men the chance to close the gap.
"We certainly can't lose," said Emanuelson on the club's official website.
"PSV are a solid side and doing well but we have done well against them over the last two years.
"They have, like us, players who can make a difference.
"Therefore we must ensure that our players who can make the difference actually do it on Saturday."
Second-placed FC Twente will look to bounce back from their first defeat of the season at NAC Breda when they host AZ Alkmaar.
AZ beat Ajax last time out and are hovering on the fringes of the top three.
The visitors will be without suspended duo Hector Moreno and Pontus Wernbloom while Johann Gudmundsson Berg is struggling with a hamstring injury.
But coach Gertjan Verbeek does not believe the absences should hinder his side's progress.
He said: "Last week (against Ajax) I saw definite progress but we were at the upper limit.
"You can not expect that every week from AZ. But we must now ensure we are more consistent because we can get a place in the automatic Champions League qualification places."
