Emanuelson moving fast at Milan
New AC Milan left-back Urby Emanuelson is confident he can settle down quickly at the club.
The 24-year-old Holland international joined Milan at the weekend from Ajax and signed a contract until June 2014 with the Serie A leaders.
Emanuelson admits things have moved fast since he opted to move to the San Siro last week instead of remaining at Ajax, where he has spent all his professional life.
Emanuelson told Gazzetta dello Sport: "This is a dream come true for me.
"Milan is one of the best clubs in the world and I'm honoured to be here.
"Everything happened very fast as Milan only called me on Wednesday and by Saturday the deal was completed.
"I hope to do great things at the club.
"I want to give my best and help the team win titles."
Emanuelson is fully prepared for the challenge which lies ahead.
"I know I have to do my job, train well and play where the coach wants me to play," he said. "I think I'm strong going forward but what is important is that I give my contribution to the team.
"I know there are many great players at Milan like (Andrea) Pirlo, (Gennaro) Gattuso and (Clarence) Seedorf.
"I cannot wait to train with them because I know at Milan I can learn a lot."
Emanuelson is optimistic he can play his part in bringing silverware back to the San Siro, with Milan's last trophy coming in 2007.
"I am here to win because I played six seasons at Ajax but I didn't even win one league title," he said.
Emanuelson is Milan's second reinforcement in the winter transfer market following the arrival of Antonio Cassano from Sampdoria earlier this month.
The Dutch player could make his debut with Milan in Wednesday's Coppa Italia quarter-final at Sampdoria.
