Dzeko shoots down City move
Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko admits he is unlikely to move to Manchester City in January.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina frontman has been strongly linked with a big-money move to Eastlands in the transfer window as a replacement for the out-of-favour Emmanuel Adebayor.
But asked in an interview with Sport Bild if he would stay at Wolfsburg until the summer at the least, Dzeko said: "That is up to Wolfsburg.
"But at the moment it looks like I am staying."
The 24-year-old added: "I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression: I very much enjoy playing for Wolfsburg.
"But I also have a dream. I want to play in the Champions League every year."
That ambition is unlikely to be fulfilled at Wolfsburg next season. Steve McClaren's side lie 13th in the Bundesliga table, 14 points off third place.
Dzeko has scored 10 goals in 17 league games this term.
