Rovers lost 1-0 to Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the Asia Trophy on Wednesday, as an even encounter was decided by Darren Bent's goal three minutes after the break. Kean has already revealed his desire to bring in a striker, midfielder and central defender after losing Phil Jones to Manchester United, while Jermaine Jones returned to Schalke following the end of his loan spell. And Dunn feels with the right signings, Blackburn can set their sights on the right end of the table this season after narrowly avoiding relegation last term. "If we keep strengthening, get a few more players in, maybe a midfielder and a striker, there's no reason why we can't finish top 10," he said. "Who knows, if we start well and end well, there's no reason why we can't finish a little bit higher. "I think Jase (Jason Roberts) did great last night as did Mauro (Formica) but I think it would be great for competition to bring in a real hungry striker that can score some goals and maybe a centre midfielder with a bit of experience as well. "Last night I thought we played pretty well. In the humid conditions it was difficult, the pitch was little bit difficult at times, all in all that was somewhere near their first XI and we're still looking to add to our team. "I feel pretty confident about this season, not over-confident but all the lads fitness-wise are really good and training's been going really well. I think if we can keep improving we'll be okay. "Without saying too much, I think we controlled a lot of the game. Obviously they are good players so there was going to be times when we were a little bit stretched from when we were attacking and they broke on us, but I think if we can tidy that up a little bit, I think we'll do well."
