Dundee United v St Johnstone preview
Defender Garry Kenneth will be given until Saturday morning to prove his fitness. Kenneth, who missed last Saturday's loss at Rangers and the midweek extra-time Co-operative Insurance Cup win at Ross County, returned to training on Friday following a calf injury. Barry Douglas (ankle) is definitely out, but Danny Swanson (hamstring) and Craig Conway (knee) are nearing returns, although the Tayside derby at Tannadice may come too soon for them. Andy Jackson is back in the St Johnstone squad for the game following his recovery from a head knock sustained against St Mirren last week. Scott Dobie is absent with a hamstring problem and Steven Milne with a knee injury. Martin Hardie and Peter MacDonald both came through a behind-closed-doors game in midweek but it is too soon for them to be considered.
