Goalkeeper Colin Doyle has penned a new two-year contract at Birmingham.

The 27-year-old, who first joined the club's Academy back in 2001 before turning professional two years later, was due to see his existing deal run out this summer but will now remain at St Andrew's until 2015.

Doyle has played second fiddle to the likes of Joe Hart, Ben Foster and Jack Butland in recent years but, following the departure of the latter to Stoke, will compete with new signing Darren Randolph for the gloves next season.
