Barcelona's Jonathan dos Santos has undergone surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The 23-year-old midfielder suffered the injury during training on October 23 and will be sidelined for six months following the procedure.
Dos Santos posted a picture of himself on Twitter before going into the operating theatre, with the message "Ready to go to the OR / ready for surgery #godblessme".
The arthroscopy was performed at the Clinica Dexeus by doctors Joan Carles Monllau and Ricard Pruna.

Mexico international Dos Santos was called up to Barcelona from Barcelona B in 2011 and the current campaign is his second as a member of the first team.
