DJ admits Holloway danger

Manager Holloway as worked wonders with the Seasiders this term, guiding his side to a mid-table position in the Premier League despite pre-season expectations of doom and gloom from outside Bloomfield Road. Forward Campbell, 29, says his eccentric boss deserves all the plaudits he gets but with clubs always on the lookout for new managerial talent, such as Blackburn who are currently without a coach, he believes Holloway will have attracted interest. "I would not be surprised if anyone else was interested in him because he's doing such a fantastic job," Campbell said in the News of the World. "If he was to leave the club it would be hard but he would leave a legend." On Blackpool's excellent campaign so far in the top-flight, Campbell added: "I think that a lot of managers have seen how we are playing and thought 'if Blackpool are having a go, why don't we?' "In the last 10 years of watching the Premier League I've not seen so many of the promoted and so-called smaller teams having a go at the big teams. "I think that is because of us - we have gone and had a go. "We went defensive at Chelsea and lost. That taught us a lesson. We knew it would be tough playing against world-class players but we have that belief that if we go for it, we will stay up. "We are almost halfway through the season and if we can replicate and better what we have done then we will definitely survive. "We have even surprised ourselves. There were people saying that we would be relegated and that we wouldn't get 10 points."
