Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic wants to hold talks with Louis van
Gaal after describing his position at the Allianz Arena as
"unbelievable".
The Croatian feels he is not being given the opportunities he
deserves during his first season at the club after joining from
Hamburg.
Though he has been a regular in the first-team fold, he feels
he is hauled off far too often including during Saturday's 2-1
defeat to Stuttgart - a game in which he had broken the deadlock.
Olic is now keen to discuss the matter with van Gaal, with it
imperative the issue is laid to rest before Bayern face Manchester
United in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on
Tuesday.
"It is unbelievable and I am unable to understand the
decisions," he told Munich-based tz newspaper.
"I know the success of the team is the main priority, but I
thought I would be a player able to help the team.
"I am not angry, I am disappointed. I plan to speak to the
manager and ask him why this is happening. I cannot be satisfied
with something like this."
Meanwhile, Olic's fellow frontman Miroslav Klose has aired
his frustration at the amount of attention Franck Ribery and Arjen
Robben receive.
He accepts that the creative duo are the club's most potent
attacking weapons, but feels it is important for people to realise
that Bayern are more than just a two-man team.
"Arjen and Franck are two quality players. Both have the
ability to win a match on their own," the Germany international
told Rheinische Post.
"I would prefer, though, for people to notice that there are
nine other players on the pitch and these players are out there
doing the dirty jobs for the team.
"A team is not made up of just one or two, winning is always
a team effort."
