Dindane: My focus is on Pompey
Reports have suggested Dindane was looking to quit Portsmouth after the cash-strapped club defaulted over the payment concerning his loan deal to Lens. It has been claimed Lens are demanding £3.5million from Portsmouth or the striker will quit Fratton Park - and that the Ivory Coast international and the Ligue 1 club will approach FIFA and the Premier League to sanction a move to another club in England despite the transfer window being closed, citing exceptional circumstances. However Dindane, who came close to joining two Premier League clubs before the close of the transfer window, insists he plans to see out his loan deal at Fratton Park before leaving Lens for good in the summer. "Lens blocked two moves to Premier League sides in January and as far as I am concerned I will be staying on loan at Portsmouth until the end of the season ,after which I will be buying out the last year of my contract at Lens so I can move to any club I choose in the summer," Dindane told skysports.com. "Problems between Lens and Portsmouth are no concern of mine. "My focus is on Portsmouth and helping them get as many points as possible to help them stay in the Premier League."
