Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov has become the father of a baby girl, hours after scoring a hat trick in Bulgaria's 6-2 victory over Georgia in a World Cup qualifier.
Berbatov's longtime girlfriend, Elena, gave birth to their first child at a Sofia hospital Thursday. The girl has been named Dea.
Berbatov said on his Web site: "There have been no complications, and both the mother and baby daughter are healthy."
