Di Matteo: Baggies need a lift

The Baggies went down 1-0 at Wigan at the weekend, Victor Moses' vital goal came in the 70th minute when he steered the ball beyond goalkeeper Scott Carson and into the corner of the net after being set up by Charles N'Zogbia. Albion nearly snatched a point in stoppage time but substitute Marc-Antoine Fortune saw his effort beaten away by Ali Al Habsi. After a bright start, the newly-promoted side have taken just one point out of a possible 12 and manager Di Matteo said: "It is disappointing. "It has been a tough week for us. But we always knew it was going to be a long hard road until the end of the season. "We will try to lift ourselves and win the next game (against Stoke). It is very tight in the league. Anyone can beat anyone and I think it will be like this until the end of the season."
