De Bruyne agent: Clubs have made contact about Wolfsburg star
Premier League target Kevin De Bruyne is on the radar of several clubs, according to the Wolfsburg star's agent, with some sides having already made contact.
The ex-Chelsea midfielder has been in sublime form for the Bundesliga outfit this season, netting nine times in 26 league outings and recording 16 assists - at least seven more than any other player in the division.
De Bruyne's superb performances have alerted a host of Europe's biggest clubs, including Manchester City - with Manuel Pellegrini looking at the Belgian to overhaul his midfield - while Bayern Munich and PSG have also been linked with a move.
But while the 23-year-old Belgium international's agent confirmed that he had been contacted about his client, he also stressed that there had yet to be any formal bids and expressly ruled out rumors of an impending move to Bayern.
"There are always interested teams and there has been some informal contact," Patrick De Koster told FOCUS Online.
"People have asked me how Kevin is doing, how he has been developing superbly and putting in good performances. That is only normal in situations like this. There have not been any concrete offers, though."
He continued: "I can assure you there have not been any talks with Bayern Munich.
"When you want to know whether Bayern are interested in signing Kevin, you should ask [sporting director] Matthias Sammer or [technical director] Michael Reschke. It is true that I have worked with Reschke before, but that does not mean anything now."
De Koster, meanwhile, says that De Bruyne has little intention of forcing through a move despite being keen to test himself at a higher level due to his respect for Wolfsburg.
He added: "We will sit down with Wolfsburg first, that is a matter of respect. They supported Kevin during a difficult period, when he was unhappy at Chelsea."
