Giovanni De Biasi has renewed his contract as Albania coach for another two years despite poor results in World Cup qualifying.
The country's football federation said Thursday that the 57-year-old Italian will prepare the squad for 2016 European Championship qualifiers.
De Biasi, a former coach at Torino and Udinese, took over Albania in 2011.
The squad lost five of its 10 World Cup qualifiers in a group that also included qualifier Switzerland and playoff team Iceland as well as Slovenia, Norway, and Cyprus.
