Dawson needed seven stitches after taking a blow to the forehead during England's win over Norway on Monday. Baggies head coach Roy Hodgson said: "Craig has done well for the Under-21s but he has a nasty scar and it's right in the middle of his forehead. "We would hope Craig will be okay for Sunday. Looking at the wound, it's possible." Another defender in Steven Reid remains doubtful for the Wolves encounter at the Hawthorns with a slight fracture of his hand. Summer signing, Billy Jones, will be the obvious candidate to replace Reid if he is unavailable.
