Goalkeeper Petr Cech made several key saves for the Czech Republic to play out a goalless draw with Japan in the final game of the Kirin Cup.
Japan had the better of the chances at Nissan Stadium on Tuesday but Cech held the hosts off the scoresheet for his second shutout of the tournament. Peru and the Czechs also finished goalless on Saturday.
Japan almost broke through in the 77th minute when Shinji Okazaki got behind the Czech defenders but Cech dove to his right to stop Okazaki's header.
The Czech team, which came to Japan without injured captain Tomas Rosicky and key striker Milan Baros, created few scoring chances and rarely tested Japan 'keeper Eiji Kawashima.
