Serse Cosmi will remain as Livorno coach despite offering his
resignation following the 2-0 loss to Napoli last week.
Cosmi had said he'd had enough of club president Aldo
Spinelli "meddling" in team affairs, but Spinelli said Tuesday on
the club's Web site that he refuses to accept the resignation.
Spinelli promised to help Cosmi strengthen the squad in the
transfer window after having allowed midfielder Antonio Candreva to
join Juventus on loan.
Livorno is currently 16th in the Serie A with 21 points from
21 games
