A late goal from Edgar Andrade saw Jaguares sneak into the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores on away goals at the expense of Colombian side Junior.

With the last-16 tie poised at 1-1 after the first leg, Jaguares came from behind three times with Andrade's strike three minutes from time securing a 3-3 draw.

Junior was gifted the lead after 35 minutes when an error from goalkeeper Jorge Villapando let in Juan Valencia, but Jackson Martinez pulled the Mexicans level nine minutes later.

A penalty from Luis Paez at the start of the second half restored Junior's advantage but it was again cancelled out by Martinez.

Villapando was also at fault for the home side's third goal, fumbling a shot from Carlos Bacca, and that looked to have ended Jaguares' challenge until Andrade struck.

Jaguares will now face Cerro Porteno, who needed a penalty shootout to beat Estudiantes.

Both legs finished goalless, prompting the need for spot-kicks. And Cerro goalkeeper Diego Barreto was the hero, keeping out Facundo Roncaglia's effort.

Velez Sarsfield had a much easier time in its quarter-final second leg, with goals from Ricardo Alvarez and Ivan Bella seeing off Liga Deportiva Universitaria to complete a 5-0 aggregate win.
