Mexico's San Luis beat Peru's Universidad San Martin 3-1 while former champion Once Caldas got a draw away at Paraguay's Libertad on Tuesday to ensure the fight for qualification from Copa Libertadores Group 1 goes to the final games.
Libertad was already guaranteed of a place in the final 16 and it took a stoppage-time equalizer from Nicolas Pavlovich - his second goal of the game - to get a 2-2 home draw against Colombia's Once Caldas.
Entering the final matchday, Libertad has 11 points, San Martin has six, San Luis five and Once Caldas four. Libertad hosts San Luis and Once Caldas visits San Martin in the final fixtures on April 19.
Also Tuesday, Chile's Universidad Catolica earned a 2-0 win at Caracas of Venezuela to move to the top of Group 4.
Atletico Junior of Colombia is the only other club guaranteed a place in the final 16 so far.
Wason Renteria gave 2004 Libertadores champion Once Caldas the lead against Libertad with a 12th-minute strike, before Pavlovich got his first goal four minutes later.
In an eventful start to the game, Renteria scored again in the 18th minute and the Colombian club looked to have secured a valuable three points until Pavlovich again leveled with a stoppage-time goal.
In Mexico, Michael Arroyo also hit a double in San Luis' 3-1 win against San Martin of Peru that guaranteed Libertad top spot in the group.
Juan Medina had opened the scoring for San Luis in the third minute, with Arroyo's goals coming in the 14th and 75th.
Ronald Quinteros pulled a goal back for San Martin on the hour mark, but followed that with a red card in the 78th to leave his team with ten men.
Elsewhere, Jose Villanueva and Lucas Pratto scored the goals as Universidad Catolica registered a 2-0 win at Caracas to leapfrog the Venezuelan team atop Group 4.
Universidad Catolica has seven points from four matches, with Caracas a point behind. Union Espanola of Chile has four and Argentina's Velez Sarsfield has three, though both clubs have played a game less.
Group fixtures continue through April.
