Bundesliga side Cologne says sporting director Volker Finke is leaving the club by mutual consent.
Cologne says on its website that Finke will leave with immediate effect after differences of opinion during ''several discussions'' with shareholders' representatives over the future direction of the club.
Board chairman Werner Wolf is to issue a press release Sunday morning to give further details on the decision.
