Cologne says coach Frank Schaefer is leaving at the end of the Bundesliga season.
Schaefer took over in October following the firing of Zvonimir Soldo and steered the team out of immediate relegation danger. He was formerly a coach of Cologne's junior side.
Cologne says Schaefer is leaving ''for personal reasons.''
No successor was immediately named.
