Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp reckons a deal for Joe Cole to join Manchester United this summer "might have been done" already.
Reports in Tuesday morning's newspapers suggested the midfielder favours a move to Old Trafford once his contract expires at Chelsea at the end of this month.
Spurs and Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the England international but Redknapp thinks it could be too late for his side to land the player.
"I've got a feeling that it might have been done (for Cole to join United)," he told talkSPORT.

"It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Joe's not wanted to speak to anybody and his people have been saying 'let's get the World Cup out of the way first.' But we'd be interested for sure. I like Joe."
