Cobblers land Cameron on loan
Juventus striker Nicolas Anelka is capable of playing at a 'high level' for another three or four years, according to his agent.
The 34-year-old joined Juve in January on an initial short-term contract until the end of the season with the option for a further year.
The former Chelsea man has made just two substitute appearances so far, in Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.
Anelka's departure from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua ahead of his Juve move had prompted speculation he could be set to retire.
But his agent, Doug Pingisi, says the Frenchman is capable of playing on for at least three more years and is not ready to hang up his boots.
However, Pingisi says an unnamed non-football related project that Anelka has lined up is the only thing that could prematurely end his playing days.
He told France Football: "He is at Juve so far. Then, we will see.
"Nico is not ready to hang up his boots. He is still capable of playing at a high level for very good clubs.
"For me, he still has three or four good years ahead of him."
Pingisi added: "The only thing that could make him stop is his second activity that could become his main one.
"He has prepared for his life after his football career for a while. I cannot tell you more. I'll let him tell you about at the right moment."
With his side just two points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the Devon derby with rivals Exeter on Saturday, Sheridan wants his side to be focusing on the fight for survival.
Sheridan signed a deal until the end of the season when he was appointed and several first-team regulars will also be out of the contract at the end of the campaign.
"I don't know what my circumstances are going to be," he told the Plymouth Herald. "Obviously, players would like to know what's happening with them, or what my thoughts are of contracts.
"That's only right. They have got families and they have got to live. But I have spoken to the chairman and the people involved and I think its right we deal with it once we know where the club lies."
Argyle have picked up 11 points from their last six games but they still have to face four of the division's top seven - starting with Paul Tisdale's Grecians this weekend.
Reports have claimed the Red Devils are among clubs keeping tabs on Mangala as they look to bolster their defensive options next season
Mangala switched to the Portuguese outfit from Standard Liege in 2011 and helped the club retain their title last season.
The 22-year-old, who has represented France at Under-21 level, is flattered by the speculation, but he acknowledged his current club would have a say in any potential transfer.
He told Sky Sports: "I am definitely flattered by the interest of such a big club like Manchester United, any player would be.
"I have a contract here until 2016 so even if I want to go, Porto will have their say in the transfer."
Daniels has yet to make his senior Baggies debut but has been on the bench in the Barclays Premier League this season as understudy to Ben Foster and Boaz Myhill.
Albion's Sporting and Technical Director Richard Garlick said: "He has shown great loyalty to the club since he joined our Academy as a youngster and has developed into a very promising goalkeeper.
"He is an important part of what has become a strong goalkeeping department at the club and he continues to progress well under the guidance of Dean Kiely."
Daniels' signing is a further boost for the Baggies after Myhill agreed a two-year deal with an option for a further year's extension earlier this month.
Cameron, 21, who was given his professional debut by Cobblers boss Aidy Boothroyd during his spell in charge of the Sky Blues, arrives at Sixfields as cover for injured captain Kelvin Langmead.
Langmead had been an ever-present in the side until he was forced off with a knee problem against Oxford on Saturday but he is expected to return to action before the end of the campaign.
"I gave Nathan his debut in the Championship," Boothroyd told Northampton's official website. "He was one of the stand-out players of my time at Coventry.
"He is an England Under-19 international and he has all the attributes required to be a top-class defender.
"Sometimes young players lose their way a little and a change of scene can do them the world of good and I have a lot of faith in Nathan's ability.
"For someone of 21 he has a fair bit of experience under his belt. He has had some ups and downs in his career already but I am sure we can help get the best out of him.
"I know all about him. He is powerful, good in the air and quick and I am delighted he is here."
On Langmead's injury, Boothroyd added: "In a way we are relieved because thankfully the injury is not as bad as we feared it could be.
"The surgeons say Kelvin will be back before the end of the season and knowing Kelvin he will be back even quicker than they expect. Kelvin has played a huge part in turning this club around and he will continue to do so as we carry on taking this club forward."
