City are understood to have tabled the highest bid for the 22-year-old - reported to be in the region of £30million - but Udinese value their prize asset at a staggering £44million. Barcelona have rivalled the Eastlands outfit's interest in Sanchez and now Mancini has called time on his pursuit of the gifted wide man, despite holding positive initial talks with the player. Mancini told Sky Italia: "I talked to Sanchez, he said he was willing to come to City. "But after the last offer we are out of the race for the Chilean player."
