Humberto Suazo scored the second of his two goals in injury time to lift Chile over Venezuela 3-2 in World Cup qualifying Thursday.
Chile trailed 1-0 after striker Giancarlo Maldonado opened the scoring on a free kick in the 59th minute in front of 32,000 screaming fans at Jose Antonio Anzoategui Stadium, but Suazo equalized in the 65th on a penalty kick after Venezuela's Leonel Vielma tripped up Chile's Alexis Sanchez inside the box.
