Chievo Verona beat last-place Livorno 2-0 in Saturday's only Serie
A match.
Veteran forward Sergio Pellissier put Chievo in front in the
28th minute with an angled shot and Elvis Abbruscato sealed the
victory with a score from the edge of the goal box in the 88th.
With 41 points - 10 above the relegation zone - Chievo has
nearly made sure it will stay in Serie A for another season.
Livorno, meanwhile, appears headed back to Serie B.
