Cech, Rosicky back in Czech squad for qualifiers
Midfielder Tomas Rosicky and goalkeeper Petr Cech have returned to the Czech Republic squad for next month's World Cup qualifying matches against Armenia and Italy.
The two stars didn't play in a 1-1 friendly at Hungary on Aug. 14 due to a busy schedule with their Premier League clubs. The Czechs need them to do well in the Sept. 6 match in Prague and four days later in Turin to keep their hopes alive to qualify for the tournament in Brazil.
Italy leads Group B with 14 points and has a four-point advantage over Bulgaria. The Czechs are third, five points behind Italy with four games to play.
The Czechs will miss defensive midfielder Tomas Hubschman, who has an eye problem.
