Caulker injury blow for Swans

The 19-year-old damaged cartilage in his knee when he clashed with the goalpost during Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal. The England U21 international, who has started all four of the Swans' Premier League matches this season, will return to parent club Tottenham to have his injury properly assessed. But it is feared Caulker will be sidelined until at least the middle of November. There was some good news on the injury front for boss Brendan Rodgers with club captain Garry Monk set for a timely return to action. The long-serving Swans stalwart is back in full training and could replace Caulker in the centre of defence for Saturday's home clash with West Brom.
