The promising midfielder, who made his full England debut earlier this season, has been linked with big-money moves to Manchester rivals City and United. Reports have already claimed that the Black Cats have agreed to sell Henderson in the summer, despite manager Steve Bruce's protestations that no deal is on the cards. Quinn has stressed that Bruce will have the final say on whether Henderson would leave the Stadium of Light and only then if an 'extraordinary' bid had been made. "It (an offer) would have to be something extraordinary, absolutely ridiculous, because he represents everything that our academy is about," said Quinn. "And even then, if Steve Bruce didn't want it to happen then no-one would put an ounce of pressure on him." Henderson has this week confirmed his intention to still be at Sunderland next season and Quinn feels the 20-year-old is at the best place to develop his burgeoning career. Quinn added: "In fairness to the lad, we have had conversations with him and his dad and they know that this is still the development stage of Jordan's career. "Playing every week for Sunderland is much better than going somewhere else and sitting in the wings. "Jordan's career is only just beginning to flourish."
