Cathcart out for three weeks
Blackpool have been hit by the news that influential defender Craig Cathcart has been ruled out for up to three weeks.
The Northern Ireland centre-half missed the Seasiders' loss at home to Huddersfield on Monday night with a calf strain and subsequent scans have confirmed a Grade One muscle tear.
Cathcart's absence was keenly felt at Bloomfield Road against the Terriers, with Ian Holloway's defence shipping three goals and the Blackpool boss admits it's back to the drawing board for his back-line.
"Any injury is one to worry about. He has a tear in a stabilising muscle in his calf," he told the Blackpool Gazette.
"I think he's been terrific for us as has my whole defence. But we let three in on Monday night, so it's back to the drawing board really."
