The Court of Arbitration for Sport will rule on a dispute between Udinese and Portsmouth over money owed on the transfer of Ghanian midfielder Sulley Muntari.

CAS said Thursday the case is confidential and gave no timetable for a decision.

Udinese is claiming more than 3 million pounds ($4.86 million; €3.4 million) from Portsmouth, which agreed to pay the Italian club around 7 million pounds for Muntari in 2007.

Portsmouth sold Muntari to Inter Milan for about 12 million pounds one year later.

Portsmouth is last in the English Premier League and barred from signing players because of financial problems. It also faces court action from the state tax department and former player Sol Campbell.
