Goals either side of halftime gave Mexico's Monterrey a 2-0 win over the Seattle Sounders in the CONCACAF Champions League on Wednesday.
Neri Cardozo headed past Seattle goalkeeper Kasey Keller late in the first half, then set up Aldo de Nigris' goal early in the second.
The victory gave Monterrey a perfect six points from two games in Group C play and left the American club still looking for its first point.
The opening goal came from a long ball into the penalty area which Keller got a hand to, but it went straight to Cardozo, who headed into the empty net.
