Former France midfielder Camel Meriem has signed a two-year deal with Nice.
Meriem joined on a free transfer as he was out of contract with his former club Arles-Avignon, which was relegated from the first division this season.
The 31-year-old Meriem has played 289 matches in the French first division, scoring 22 goals.
He played three matches for France under former coach Raymond Domenech.
