Left-back Baines has weighed in with nine assists in all competitions so far this season, the latest coming in Saturday's 1-0 Premier League victory at Wigan when Cahill connected with his corner. "Leighton is first class," the Australian told the Liverpool Echo. "His assists this year have been unbelievable. "For me, players like that are priceless and I thrive on his quality. "I'm very lucky to have someone like that in the team. "I practice in training with a lot of the lads but whenever there's a free-kick, I do appreciate it when Leighton is on them." Cahill was delighted with the weekend win at the DW Stadium, which took Everton up to ninth in the table. "We spoke before the game about how vital it was to keep this momentum going, to keep up the attitude and the mentality of winning and winning away from home," he added. "We always knew Wigan was going to be a difficult place to go and we rode our luck a bit but created chances and, in the end, three points seems massive."
