Cahill back for Australia's World Cup qualifiers
Everton midfielder Tim Cahill has been recalled to Australia's squad for a friendly against Denmark and two World Cup Asian qualifiers against Oman and Japan next month.
Socceroos head coach Holger Osieck announced a 26-man squad on Tuesday to prepare for the June 2 match at Copenhagen against Denmark.
He will cut the squad to 23 for the World Cup last-round Group B qualifiers against Oman at Muscat on June 8 and Japan at Brisbane on June 12.
Cahill, who has scored 24 goals in 55 internationals - including Australia's first ever goal in the World Cup finals at Germany in 2006 - will be joined in the squad by veterans Harry Kewell, Lucas Neill and Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
Aston Villa midfielder Chris Herd was the only new face in the squad.
