World Cup veteran Cafu stopped by Brazil's final practice ahead of the Confederations Cup and gave a motivational speech to the players.

Brazil's captain when the team won the 2002 World Cup, Cafu spoke for a few minutes as players huddled around him before the team's training session at the Estadio Nacional on Friday.

The players said the former right back helped motivate them before the opening match against Japan on Saturday.

Midfielder Lucas says Cafu's speech was ''very moving'' and that ''everybody was inspired'' by his words.
