Brunt talks up Wembley hopes
The Northern Ireland international has been rested for each of the Baggies' three ties in the competition so far and could again be looking on for Wednesday's quarter-final at Ipswich. The 25-year-old has been in outstanding form this season but only featured in Saturday's 4-1 Barclays Premier League win at Everton after passing a fitness test on a groin injury. Brunt said: "Obviously the gaffer has rested a lot of lads and played the lads that haven't been playing a lot of football in the Carling Cup. "They have done really well to get this far and I am sure he will probably be looking to do the same thing again. "We'll see what happens but we have got a good chance of getting to Wembley. "If we can overcome Ipswich on Wednesday we are only two games away from a major cup final. That would be a good achievement and a day out for the supporters. "We'll be going down there and trying to win the game. "If we were to get to the cup final and win it, for a player it is something to put on your CV."
