The midfielder saw his tame penalty saved by Manuel Almunia but goals from Peter Odemwingie, Gonzalo Jara and Jerome Thomas put the Baggies three up, and they held on for a famous 3-2 win. Brunt, who was involved in two of the Baggies' goals, told the official club website: "I was angry at myself for the penalty because I changed my mind. When I put the ball down I was just going to smash it - but I changed my mind at the last minute. "Everybody tells you to never change your mind and that's what I did so I was gutted because I thought I had blown a chance for us. "But thankfully the lads responded straight away and we just went from strength to strength. If we hadn't won I would have blamed myself for it."
