Brown hopes to keep quartet
Derby trio Richard Keogh, Jeff Hendrick and Conor Sammon have been named in the Republic of Ireland squad for four matches this summer, including a friendly against England at Wembley.
Defender Keogh, midfielder Hendrick and striker Sammon are part of a provisional 28-man squad, having all won their first senior caps earlier this year.
Ireland take on England on May 29 before another friendly against Georgia in Dublin on June 2.
Those fixtures will act as a warm-up for a home World Cup qualifier against the Faroes Islands on June 7.
After that, Giovanni Trapattoni's men fly out to New York for a friendly against world and European champions Spain at Yankee Stadium on June 11.
Keogh, Derby's player of the year, won his first full international cap as a substitute against Poland in February.
Hendrick and Sammon also made their debuts on the same night in a 2-0 success against Poland at the Aviva Stadium.
Sean Clohessy, Gavin Tomlin, Luke Prosser and Michael Timlin have all been offered extensions to their contracts, all of which are due to expire at the end of June.
"Offers have been made to Sean, Gavin, Luke and Michael but they will be discussing everything with their representatives at the moment I expect," Brown told the Southend Echo.
"They will be putting it about that they've been offered new deals and it's really a game of cards at the moment, but we're sitting down with some very good players discussing their futures here at the club", he added.
Tomlin finished last term as the club's joint top scorer with 16 goals while right-back Clohessy was voted player of the year by the supporters having made 59 appearances in one season for the Shrimpers - a club record.
