Flamengo missed the chance to move into top place in the Brazilian championship with two games remaining in the season after a scoreless draw with Goias on Sunday.

With tournament leader Sao Paulo surprisingly beaten 3-2 by lowly Botafogo earlier in the day, Flamengo had high hopes of taking top place.
