SAO PAULO (AP) The Brazilian football confederation says the national team will play Mexico on June 7 as part of its preparations for the Copa America.
The game will be held at Palmeiras' 43,000-capacity Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo.
It will be Brazil's first match after coach Dunga announces the Copa America squad on May 5, and the second-to-last before the South American tournament begins in Chile. Brazil is also expected to play Honduras three days later at the Beira-Rio Stadium in Porto Alegre.
Brazil was held by Mexico to a 0-0 draw in the group stage of the World Cup last year. It will be the Selecao's first match at home since its disappointing performance in the World Cup.
